This is one of
the walks that you can take directly from our caravan, the distance is about
three miles
and
will take about two and a half hours. The first part of the walk will take you
through "Bucks Woods"
then along what is known locally as "The Hobby Drive", this is about 2 miles
long, eventually ending
at "Clovelly. This walk continues on to "Cornwall", "South Devon" and "Dorset".
You will need to take drinks and a snack
with you as there are no houses
or buildings on the way.
There are plenty of places to eat or dine at Clovelly
with a Museum and
Visitors Centre and of course
the Clovelly Donkeys.
The children can have rides
on the donkeys and if you are lucky,
you will see them pull the sledge's with
the villagers provisions.
You will find that if you walk or take the bus too Clovelly then you won't have
to pay to go through the
Visitors Centre or the Village. You can always go
through there on your way back, FOR FREE!!
If you don't want to walk back along the Hobby Trail then you can get a bus to
our Holiday Park,
but no buses run on Sundays!!
For anybody that has a problem with walking or a health problem, you will be
able to get transport
back to the top, as there is a Land Rover taxi for a small charge!
